I'm Sierra. I am an artist and a professional lifestyle, family, newborn and adventure photographer based between Collingwood, Ontario, and Aspen, Colorado. 

A photograph can be many things. A story. A trigger for a memory filled with sounds, smells, and full of feeling. An interpretation of the world, literal or abstract. To me, photography is a medium to express love for the world I live in, for the people in my life, for the beauty of authentic interactions. It is a medium to explore people, their passions, motivations and inspirations. 

Mountain born and raised, I spent a few weeks every summer at my family's cottage on the Severn River. I now live in Collingwood, Ontario. I still work in Aspen, Colorado as well as in Collingwood, Muskoka, and the surrounding areas. 

My family photography reflects my love for my own family, for the moments I treasure, and the real and raw that I believe every family should have captured. Every session now includes a custom photo album, because I believe it is deeply important to PRINT our photos, to revisit them year after year, and to have a physical memento for our kids to look through. 

My artwork reflects a deep passion for the mountains, for nature, and for the rocks, trees and lakes of Muskoka cottage country.

I seek always to capture the fleeting, authentic moments. I want your photos to be truly representative of who you, your family, your partner, are, and how you interact with your environment.
